Hillary Clintongot an A on her make up test today, pulling off a convincing endorsement of Barack Obama and "unringing the bell" of stubborn divisiveness from her non-concession speech in New York last Tuesday.
As a huge Barry guy (who actually supported Hillary earlier in the race) I am big enough to admit that, primary campaign-wise, he peaked early and she peaked late. Ultimately, his early momentum earned him a strong enough delegate lead to propel him over the finish line. But he will need a second wind to beat John McCain in November, and Hillary may become a forceful gust at his back. For this, I am hopeful, and for her speech today in my backyard, I am grateful.
