Here I am again at our little non-profit table. It’s a rainy, muggy afternoon, with not much to do but read and sweat. Once the bands get going, the people will start circulating, and I’ll begin having actual conversations.
My pal Alex from FMC’s HINT (Health Insurance Navigation Tool) is here, so I’m less bored now.
Last night’s music was fairly dull. Public Enemy was cool, but Mission of Burma was a non-event. Sebadoh had some hairy guitar solos, but I’m pretty much done venerating indie bands of yesteryear. Give me Thin Lizzy any fucking day.
Oh, well. Time to drink more beer. They actually have good brew here, which is nice.
Can’t wait to get back to DC.
