I’ve been posting a bunch of stuff lately about John McCain’s under-experienced running mate Sarah "Caribou Barbie" Palin. I was under the assumption that, by dropping an unknown onto the national scene, Palin was "fair game" in terms of what We The People are entitled to know about the person who would inherit the oval office should Oldy McOld win the Presidency and subsequently kick the bucket.
Well, my friends, I saw part of the Katie Couric interview on CBS last night, and I came to the decision to stop posting about Governor Palin. You see, I was raised in a family with strong values and one of those values was to not poke fun at people with developmental disabilities. So, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Palin for mocking her, chiding her, calling her a liar and otherwise. I’m sorry for being such a cad. I honestly had no idea that McCain would pick a "special needs VP." Never saw it coming.
