Speaking of DC, The Post has a cute and surprisingly informative article on our city’s squirrel population. I had no idea the little critters aren’t indigenous to the area but instead were brought in as a Parks initiative less than a century ago.
In less furry news, I broke down and bought myself the 120GB iPod classic. My 30GB, which I’d had for five or so years, was on the way out anyway. On Friday, it was seemingly stolen by office cleaning peeps. Which is fine. (Hope they dig Amon Düül II!)
The new device has four times more space, which means I don’t have to decide between Harmonia and Howlin’ Rain. I mostly use my iPod to shuttle stuff back and forth between work and home computers, but it’s cool to know I’ll be able to access the deeper cuts in my collection while on-the-go.
