Politico is reporting that the RNC has spent more than $150,000 on designer clothes for Sarah Palin and her family (including ‘spensive duds for the baby) over the last 8 weeks. I’m not even sure this is legal, as I’m pretty certain that there are laws about using campaign funds for personal purchases. I’m also surprised to learn that there is apparently a Neiman’s on Main Street. I guess the Party of Fiscal Responsibility™ seems to feel that campaign donations are best spent in this manner. I would love to hear what the RNC’s contributers have to say about this.
