Hello my lambs! Welcome to yet another Peculiar Planet Picayune. I am so excited about Barack Obama being our new president, I really, truly am. My little heart swells with pride and bursts into a million glittering pride-fetti bits when I think about it, but. . . I’m also really burnt out on inauguration coverage and I know I’m not the only one. In this edition I have gathered together a few exciting (non-inauguration related) stories from the more paranormal, macabre and titillating side of world news. Let’s take a little deviance break together.
- I wonder if Kink.com will offer scholarships?
- Ten interesting serial killers you may not know about.
- Clearing house of live ghost cams from all around the world!
- Oooh… a paranormal museum, observatory, and lab is opening in New Orleans. I’m sure they’ll crack the Randi Challenge in no time!
- For planning your trip to Northern Ireland.
- “Do you want to see the hell hole?“
- Did you know that Dan Akroyd has seen UFOs and been strong-armed by Men in Black?
- Not funny at all: vampirism and witchcraft murders in Kenya.
- Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead:
- Alcoholism causes lycanthropy
- Ted Bundy speaks from the grave to tell us pornography causes serial killing! I’m not going to address the arguments for and against pornography here, but I would like to point out that Bundy spent his last few days, hours, and moments trying to stay his execution by convincing people he should be used as a resource to understand and track other serial killers.
- D’oh! U.S. Supreme Court will not be hearing this exorcism case.
That’s all for this week! I hope the new year is treating you all well. Keep an eye out for my upcoming article on Devotees! If you missed a past Picayune, please find them here and here. See you back here next Wednesday for more peculiar antics and shenanigans.
I love you. Please be good to each other.
Molly

I agree, Molly, fantastic (pun intended) work. And a much needed break from the muggle-world.
