Today is FMC’s DC Policy Day at National Geographic. We’ll have the best and brightest in music, technology, policy and law talking about. . . well, you know. That goes from 9AM-6PM, after which is a cocktail party at Black Cat, after which is Lambchop (also at the Black Cat). Tomorrow is a full board meeting. Then I collapse in an exhausted heap/try to get to the next level in Mirror’s Edge (which my lovely wife got me as an early Valentine).

I haven’t put a lot of focus on my sitting meditation practice lately, and that’s a shame. But just 20 minutes this morning was enough to make me realize I’ve been infecting situations with an overabundance of neurotic self-absorption. That’s cool — everyone does it. I just need to remember to keep taking the antidote.

So this might be the last you hear from me for the rest of the day, unless you’re on Twitter. (I’ll be rocking the FMC updates, too.) Let’s see if one of our three dozen other contributors feel like chiming in!
