I have a video tape from a show at Saint Mike’s I think? and all kinds of cool Rocketsled stuff… And you know what Casey, you are dead nuts right. You guys were so far ahead of your time it was scary… I should have managed you. On of the few regrets I have in my life… You guys could and did bring it, and I mean BRING IT ALL. I remember almost every show man. I was the long hair back in ’96 who got the crowd back on track when you lost your place in “Anthem”. Believe it or not the album still gets playtime around my pad.

You guys may not have had it together but the music was stellar for the time you made it and no one else brought out a devoted fan base like Rocketsled.

I was a friend of Greg’s, lived in the brown place across from the ‘hell’ station that is now a Texaco.

Thanks for the years of solid vocals.

the band that could have….if greg beadle was such a spoiled little brat who had to have everything go his way or no way, something may have happened. good things did happen for all of us in the years to come after all and if our paths didnt cross then, our lives would be completely different.

Casey thanks for putting up the ’71 Nova album in MP3! This is one of my favorite albums of all time. You had mailed me a copy of it years ago and my wife accidentally shattered it in the door of our car. Now that I’ve got the album back I don’t have to divorce her.

Oh man, I remember that summer – mostly. We listened to Negativland’s “A Big 10-8 Place” about a thousand times and drank an assload of ice tea from a powdered mix.

You should have had Gatti do the artwork. His 242 posters were always the bomb. And he became a graphic designer. I, um, did not.

Also, I’m having a little trouble believing the Sled reunion show was over a decade ago …

Looking at that cover brings back memories of putting it together at Rob R’s house on some early iteration of Photoshop while reading the Negativland U2 book. Man, it looks soooo cheesy.

I just read the lyrics, too. Totally my Nietzsche phase. I was the original Antichrist Superstar, motherfuckers!

If you are like me the only way you can stand your MP3 collection is if it has album art. After all it makes a silly toy seem like a record collection for a second. Also if you are like me it will take you 6 or 7 years to scan that art you just can’t find. Well I did rocketsled last month so use mine…
