gop-table

Ahh, I awoke to a breath of fresh air this morning. Having watched this Health Care “debate” turn into a troll-tastic shitstorm of trash and lies, I’ve been wondering why all these politicians are not smacking down the bullshit Nazi-talk as it so richly deserves. Now, I know that when you give credence to the wingnuts in the form of a rational response it only encourages more of the same lunatic behavior, and I can’t imagine how sick of it the Congress-critters must be at this point.

Yesterday, at a Town Hall event in Dartmouth, MA,  Barney Frank gave a wingnut who compared Obama to Hitler the respect and deference she deserved:

I wish more pols could would show spine like this.

[Ed's Note: I love how he says conversing with her would be like "trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table." I can just picture her response: "Dining room table? You elitist homo! Real Americans eat in the kitchen!"]

UPDATE: The Young Turks have 14 mins of the meeting here. Not sure why the other clips didn’t identify the woman as a LaRouche supporter but there you have it.
