I was compelled to post because I feel it’s about time we at The Contrarian addressed this issue. True, some of us have heard the story before. In fact, it’s about two weeks old — approximately 12.7 internet years. However, those of us with South African ISPs are still catching on. Regardless, I cannot stress enough that we mustn’t become desensitized to this issue. All hyperbole aside, I feel this is an matter that gets to the heart of the current American political moment unlike any other.
Let’s examine the facts.
FACT: no one is actually accusing Glenn Beck of raping and murdering a young girl in 1990. I certainly am not doing so myself. Which is to say, I do believe such a thing could hypothetically be true, and I’ve seen no evidence to the contrary. FACT: that there has been a lot of talk in recent days (from both the right wing and the left), combined with some compelling evidence, that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. And…
FACT: Glenn Beck still refuses to address the allegations that he raped and murdered a young girl in 1990, spurious or not. In fact, lawyers on his behalf have done all they can to shut down the website that brought the controversy to light.
(Something which in my opinion is a) FACT: Glenn Beck could quickly and easily put this whole story to rest by simply coming out and denying that he raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. And, considering that he’s becoming an increasingly powerful political figure, wouldn’t it be only responsible to answer these allegations?

I think Todd was helpfully trying to demonstrate how these viral lies get spread by people who never learned how to read. I’m not saying that Todd never learned how to read. Funny how all the people who disagreed with Bush were called “un-American” back in the heyday of political trash talk… at least the Left are only calling Beck “pedophilia-deranged, homicidal sociopath” – which tends to be far more accepted by the Right than being “un-American.” And as a moderate, I would like add that she was held down by John Kerry.

Why won’t Todd respond to the accusations that he never learned how to read? He hasn’t responded, and if he could read, you’d think he WOULD post a reply to dispel the rumors that he never learned how to read. I’m just saying that it would be logical to come to the conclusion that if Todd doesn’t try to dispel these rumors, it must be that he can’t even read them because Todd never learned how to read. That’s not what I personally think, but it makes sense, right?
Clearly Todd has not responded because Glenn Beck raped and killed him.

To imply that Glenn Beck is a serial rapist/murderer is not only patently untrue (we can only presume), but it’s plainly libelous to say that Glenn Beck is a serial rapist/murderer, when in fact there’s no evidence that Glenn Beck is a serial rapist/murderer. Then again, to be fair, there’s really no evidence to the contrary. Of course I myself clearly don’t believe that Glenn Beck is a serial rapist/murderer, although you can’t deny that it has been heard in a number of different sentences in this comment alone.
I know a guy who went to high school with Todd. In tenth grade this guy had a half a period of gym and a whole period of bio lab with Todd and said he never once saw Todd read a book. NOT ONCE!

I did a little bit of digging and found this story. I’m not saying Glenn Beck had anything to do with it, but it does corroborate that police report that’s been floating around.
Police find dismembered body in Durham Reservoir
Published: Tuesday, March 20, 1990
DURHAM, N.H. (AP) – Following an exhaustive search by divers and chain dragging of Durham Reservoir, police have found the remains of an unidentified young woman who officials say appears to be in her late teens to early twenties.
The search was prompted after a local man walking his dog near the reservoir saw a suspicious object floating in the water, causing him to call the police. The object proved to be a human arm.
“Without a doubt, this is the most grisly murder I’ve seen in years,” said Police Chief Paul Gown. “Whoever did this has some serious problems.”
While the police refused to speculate about the cause of death before an autopsy is conducted, Gowen did note that there were clear signs of sexual assault. The remains were found in black plastic trash bags at the bottom of the lake, weighted with rocks.
“We encourage anyone who knows anything about this case to come forward so we can bring this innocent young girl peace in the hereafter,” Gowen said. “Our first priority is identifying this poor girl and bringing her family some closure.”
Police officials say they are reviewing missing persons reports from the past year in hopes of identifying the body.

I don’t know if this is true or not. But it is so refreshing to see that Glenn Beck has to defend himself from rumors. He is so so good at putting out crap about other people it is about time someone starting fighting back. I think the people he started rumors about should just go on line and post and post and post about stuff he is supposed to have done. Then he’ll be so busy fighting rumors he will have to tell the truth about all the stuff he spews on his show on the 24 hour republican informerical channel FOX NEWS.

What this story needs is evidence and lots of it. PROOF! If GB did this crime, why didn’t he serve time? Actually, he’d probably do LIFE for something like that. Please provide the truth. That’s a pretty powerful statement to make about someone. Politics is one thing, but murder????? and rape????? Truth be known, Glenn Beck is hurting the liberal cause and they will do anything to stop him. So, show us the proof, then I will take a second look. It’s ok for liberals to Bush bash, but it’s not ok to Obama bash. Sounds like a double standard. Aren’t we beyond that yet?

Glenn Beck may have raped and murdered a young girl, in fact I am sure he did, but I don’t think he will do it anymore. This is now 2010, 1990 is a long time ago – as Republican and Mormon memories go – and Mr. Beck is now WAY TOO FAT to catch, rape and murder any young girls.
He is now only into catching and raping turtles, and other small slow animals. And Glenn Beck insists that it wasn’t really rape, because the turtle was “just asking for it” with it’s sexy walk and habit of running around totally nude.

I wouldn’t make stupidly false allegations of rape against anyone. It’s hugely infantile and were it me, I’d track down the person(s) that started it and force them to publicly apologize, under lots and lots of duress.

It is totaly untrue that Beck did this, but there is a rumor that it might be mistaken identity. Some one said that maybe it was someone with a name like limbaugh or limberger.
I find it a little suspicious that he is not cooperating with the media on this. If he was innocent, he would not avoid commenting about this issue.
