A step aside from the European continent for a minute with a listening recommendation.

Thursday’s “Fresh Air” episode featured Terry Gross‘ interview with comedian Tracy Morgan, star of NBC’s “30 Rock.”

Known for his unpredictable outbursts during interviews, the NPR piece was surprisingly lucid, emotional and heartbreaking. Well worth a listen.

I second this recommendation. I was listening to this in my car as it aired and almost had to pull over. He is funny, but also experiences emotion very deeply and openly. It’s cool to hear a celebrity just being himself, warts and all, instead of puking up press releases.
