Hi – very great website you have made. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed playing with information processing systems and am trying to learn computer code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).

I opened for BSS @ that show at Metronome – I was playing keyboards in the Cush at the time…. It was, indeed, an amazing show, but what I remember the most was how nice they were! Canadians!

I was at that Broken Social Scene show at Metronome as well. I think it was summer of ‘02. Unbelievable, but I never thought the records held up to the show.

Also saw Broken Social Scene play at Club metronome for a crowd of probably less than 50 people and they were electric. this must have been 2002-2003 sometime. Hey remember when metronome had good shows?

You hit it on the head with the “never really go back to them” bit. Lots of records I thought were impressive and forward-thinking at first this decade, but very few deserved more than a listen, and even less actually stuck with me.

Saw Broken Social Scene with about 50 people in NYC during CMJ 2003 – it was nothing short of magic.
