You gotta love that Comcast is monitoring your blog and popping up like that never-welcome always-oblivious Microsoft Word paper clip, like “But can’t we all just get along?” as if you’re the problem.

I gotta tell you Detreon, I have never had Comcast service and at this point never will because of the shitty service that everyone — and I mean EVERYONE talks about. The fact that you are hemorrhaging public relations respect is not helped one bit by interventions such as this one. I could give a shit about cheerful or attentive service when the product doesn’t actually work. Please copy this to your boss and have that person copy it to their boss and tell him that’s what they should be worrying about.

Detreon: Your company has had literally HUNDREDS of chances to improve my service — I’ve spoken with phone agents, had numerous techs involved, talked with managers and regional managers, dealt with Frank Eliason’s overzealous Twitter team. . . I am jumping ship, now that there is any other option for service in my major metropolitan area.

Note that my major metro area only had ONE option for me in broadband service. How’s that marketplace competition treating you guys? Cool that the courts vacated the 70 percent cap, huh? can’t wait til you guys have NBC/Universal. Content + the pipes… what a great deal! You’ll be free to put up walled gardens and charge the customers even more for crappy service and Jay Leno!
