Tin Hat Trio has lots of very good stuff, but this one is my favorite for a terribly sad reason. It’s more melancholic because the wife of the main guitarist/composer unexpectedly passed away early on in the development of the album. He was writing in mourning.

I’m glad to see Tin Hat Trio here, Molly. They have popped up on my Dirty Three station on Pandora, and I liked what I heard. Now I think I’ll get the album…
