I’m the owner of the foreskin house and I had never before heard of Foreskin Man. After reading that article and the comic in question, I’m deeply saddened. This man has single-handedly dramatically set the movement back. The comic seems very anti-Semetic to me. I want to say that not all those who promote leaving children’s penises alone are anti-Semitic. I am definitely not, and I know many Jewish people who feel similarly on this issue. I advise all on the same side of this issue to avoid the issue of Jewish circumcision completely This way we can do the greatest good without causing any harm and without stirring up a hornet’s nest that will only take the movement down. Most circumcisions are by non-Jews anyway — and many more Jews will just decide to not do it if their religion isn’t attacked and the movement isn’t stigmatized as anti-Semitic.

According to Video ETA, the animated movie Arthur Christmas won’t be released on DVD until October. I get that it makes more sense to promote it around the holidays. But I heard it was good and now I have to wait 10 months??? Too bad, I was going to have a fun evening next month when A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas hits Netflix.

Dear Casey: Ha! First off, I want to say that I found your blog at the recommendation of Julie Gray. She sent out a tweet praising your blog site, and since I respect her, I wandered over here. I am very glad that I did. You have an interesting POV and the balls to express it. We are very much alike this way. Like you, it maddens me when “Christians” distort and misrepresent Christ’s teachings to suit their political aspirations. In fact, I have become so disenfranchised from the “church”, that I no longer attend services. I find the mixing of politics and spirituality in even the most liberal churches disturbing. From my POV, they are the healthiest when they remain separate. As for the OWS movement, I am one of the Occupied Filmmakers and present arguments daily on Twitter to raise consciousness about the perilous state of affairs in our great land. Recently, when I became increasingly alarmed about the Fascism in our country, I too, started blogging about my observations. I’m glad I came and read your work. I’ll definitely be back.
