It's Good To Be Wrong.

Gas Tax, gas shmax. Math says Hillary Clinton has no chance to secure the Democratic nomination. She can feel free to count Michigan and Florida, and twist the rules to raise the number of delegates needed to win. It won't work anymore. It's time for her to wind this down. Play out that hand, win West Virginia, take a short victory lap and get out.

Saint Obama is here to drive the snakes out of Washington. I couldn't be happier that my predictions were wrong.

The only thing that can stop him now is some kind of crazy scandal. But it's not gonna happen. No pictures will surface of Barack Obama chillaxin' on a party boat with a hottie on his lap. The crazy screaming black preacher man is about as bad is it could get. And Barack survived and transcended.

Barack Obama will accept the nomination of his party on the 40th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. Can it possibly be any more historic?

Time to gather 'round the man:

Oh, she'll just keep lending herself another $6 million to drag this puppy out. And she calls Barry an elitist?

She can lend herself all the scratch she wants — the numbers won't add up. And the superdels see the writing on the wall.

Hopefully the Clintons will recognize that in order to preserve (and now, repair) their legacy, they'll need to throw down hard for Barry.

Then maybe we'll have a better chance at defeating the Old Man From Tiger Cage Mountain. (Ouch.)

I have some hopes for her to do the right thing, because even the nuclear option has lost its potency.

When I heard about Barack winning NC (not me, the state), it was like coming out of a deep Cinderella-sleep, like, I think... I think I'm beginning to CARE again. Thank you Jesus. I was worried, as it seemed in recent days like the once-Barack-loving press had turned against him (maybe in an attempt to regain legitimacy), but it seemed like all they needed was this most recent win to flip back. I look forward to the day when I don't have to hear another "feminist" caller on NPR say how we simply HAVE to rally around Hilary or we're all misogynists. That kinda reasoning works about as well for her as it does for Israel.

Kistoff's got that op-ed piece in the Times today talking about the importance of the Clinton's campaigning for Obama. I agree that all this talk from her supporters about voting McCain has got to be a bunch of crap, but still, you can never tell what those crazy white old ladies are going to do. You back Mary Beth from Toledo into a corner and out comes the shiv. So Bill and Hillary need to get on board and bring in the white rural vote for Obama. Which is the sexyist of all the votes really.

I forgot - anyone want to put odds on whether she cries at her concession speech? I say 2 to 1 she does.
